Attila Rugby Club, Stockholm - Sweden's oldest rugby club

Attila Rugby Club is currently the oldest active Rugby Club in Sweden with the origins of the club dating back to 1949. The club's current home is at Bromma Sportfält, in the North west of Stockholm, but the club have played at Årstafältet up until 2008, sharing a ground with the two other Stockholm Clubs.

The club has both Men's senior (A & B) and women's senior teams, an active old boys setup and junior teams competing in U19, U17 and U15 divisions. A youth section is currently building with the club actively trying to work with schools in the Bromma area to promote rugby in Sweden.

In 2009 Attila merged with Red Saints Rugby club and together both clubs are moving forward to promote rugby in Sweden, and to take the team onwards an upwards. This showed when in 2010 IF Attila won Div 1 and qualified to play in the top division in Sweden for the 2011 season.
